Habitat Bay Waveland helps low-income homeowners who are affected by age, disability or family circumstances that are unable to maintain the integrity of their homes. The Critical Home Repair program works as a partner with our core building program, enabling us to serve more families and increase opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in our community.
Most importantly, the Critical Home Repair program is part of our broader community development strategy of Neighborhood Revitalization. Neighborhood Revitalization is designed to pursue our strategic goal of helping to transform and strengthen communities so that those who reside in them will be able to live and grow into all that God intends for them. Critical Home Repair addresses the health and safety of the individual residences in a neighborhood and strengthens connections within the community and helps preserve affordable housing.
