We build and sell affordable homes for families that are willing to partner with Habitat Bay Waveland.
All of our homes are built by volunteers and homeowners, under the supervision of a general contractor.
We ensure that our homes are safe and energy efficient, our building standards are in compliance with current building codes and IBHS certified wind standards. Our homes are attractive, affordable and consistent with Mississippi Gulf Coast architecture.
We call our homeownership process a partnership because it involves time and commitment from all necessary parties. It involves training in financial management, home maintenance, and other necessary topics. It’s not unusual for this to take a year as a family completes the process towards homeownership.
